A member asked:

What is getting a vasectomy or removal of a sebaceous cyst like?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Information: Removing sebaceous is fairly smple procedure. The entire sac must be removed in order to prevent recurrence. Vasectomy is also fairly straight foreward and can be done under local anesthesia, often as an office procedure. A segment of the vas deferens should be removed in order to prevent spontaneous recurrence. There can be signifcant testicular swelling after the procedure for several days.
