Have it checked: Most insect bites cause a small, tender, swollen area which may be red. If a larger area develops, especially if it is blue or black, there is the possibility you were bitten by something venomous like a spider. Some spider bites can cause extensive skin and soft tissue damage. See a medical professional as soon as possible to have it checked.
