How can you safely give a young child an immunization when they're already sick?

Yes: The present vaccines are commonly given during minor illness without any negative consequences. If a kid has an unstable or changing picture, requires hospitalization or otherwise worried the provider, a decision toput them off may be indicated. However, this is not as common today as it was before we developed the current vaccines.
