Colon Cancer: It is a cancer that starts in the large intestine. One of the risk factors of this cancer is someone in your family who has had it or polyps on their exam. It can present with bleeding from the rectum but it is mostly preventable with screening colonoscopy and learning your family history. High fiber in your diet helps lower your risk. Hope this helps.
