Liver scarring: Cirrhosis is when a liver has been suffering from inflammation (aka hepatitis) for such a long time that it has largely been changed into scar tissue. Cirrhosis is a complicated and dangerous condition which can lead to confusion, bleeding, jaundice, and may need a liver transplant to correct. Definitely contact a liver specialist or gastroenterologist if you have this condition.
