I had a baby and don't want to use any birth control for now. how do i figure out when it's safe to have unprotected sex?

Not possible: There is absolutely no way for someone to determine when it would be 100% safe to have unprotected sex and not possibly get pregnant. No matter what you do, there is always a chance of pregnancy. If you do not want to get pregnant, then you will always need to use some type of birth control.
