Kinda: If you have been taking your pills as directed everyday than you are still in protection against pregnancy during the placebo days. The pack is designed to mimic your own hormonal changes to signal when menstruation should start. However, you are NOT safe from STDs! ALWAYS ask your partner to use a condom to avoid contracting an infection.
