Variable: Most girls start their sexual development between the ages of 8 and 13, and have major growth spurt between the ages of 10 and 14.Most boys start developing sexually between the ages of 10 and 13, and major growth around 16. Some girls can still grow until 18, while boys need another two years before they finish growing aged 20.

No: Some continue to grow although often at a slow pace.A single x-ray of the wrist/hand can identify growth plates. If open, more growth is possible, if closed, they are finished.
