Drug abuse in pregna: Means basically taking substances(alcohol, prescription drugs, ilicit drugs) that are not needed for the simple reason of providing pleasure and comfort to the pregnant patient.An addiction mechanism is involved every time.

Pregnancy: Mothers should want to protect their unborn child. If addicted, get treatment before you get pregnant, if you relapse, get help and support immediately. Alcohol and or drug use will damage or addict the baby.
