Complex: Diabetic ulcers can be quite complex. Diabetic patients tend to develope peripheral vascular disease, neuropathy, and other complications of the disease. Pressure, trauma, and other stress factors can lead to diabetic ulcers. It is important for diabetics to check their feet regularly and not go barefoot.
