None: None other than a low sodium diet, exercise and weight loss. Do not underestimate how important medication are in controlling BP and preventing heart attacks and strokes. Diets and weight loss often cannot do it by themselves.

Low salt, exercise: There are several none medication based weighs to treat your hypertension. These include following a low salt (dash) diet, engaging in regular exercise, and losing weight. There is also a lot of evidence that relaxation therapy can lower her blood pressure. These interventions may not eliminate the need for medication, but can lower the dose.

Diet and BP: Great question: optimal diet is DASH Diet: low salt, low saturated fat, low cholesterol, 8 servings of colored fruit and vegetables daily, pomegranates, tomato, kiwi, spinach, kale, whole grains and low animal protein (4 - 5 oz per day of very lean meat, fish, poultry only). Don't smoke. Drink 3 liters fluid per day. Minimize caffeine. Add omega 3. Achieve ideal weight. Exercise twice daily.
