Getting to know you: I would gather a very detailed history - way back to childhood all through time until now and even ask lots about family members. I'd ask for a description of your highs and lows - details of what they include, how long they last and how they feel & cycle. If there are calm times too. I might even witness a mood episode or two. So far, i know of no quick test. I'm concerned if a faster DX is made.
