A member asked:

Which tests and treatments do they do for goiters/thyroid disordors/sinusitis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Different: Goiters/thryoid - thyroid function tests (blood work), and thyroid ultrasound. Tx: thyroid meds. Sinusitis- culture and swab, sometimes sinus ct or even sinus mri. Treatment - typically oral course of antibiotics. In extreme case, an ENT doc does surgery, inserts a trocar into your sinuses, and manually irrigates and evacuates the infection from your sinuses. This is the ultimate treatment.
