And some people have no symptoms at all when they get hiv you can get more frequent and more extensive herpes infections if you have HIV and you should be on chronic suppressive treatment for herpes if you have HIV like daily Acyclovir or famvir (famciclovir).

Usually nothing: Hiv usually doesn't have any symptoms. Some people report a flu like illness (fevers, chills, body aches) when we think they first got infected but most don't. There are no symptoms until much later in the disease. If you are concerned, you should get tested.
