Bell's palsy: Bell's palsy is the term for a disturbance of the facial nerve to the muscles of one side of the face. Most are spontaneous and rapid in onset. The cause is presumed to be viral mostly. The nerve swells in its narrow bony outlet and loses function. That side of the face droops - eye lids and mouth with visual and eating disturbance.Have immediate evaluation by your doctor
