Recurrent Bell's palsy is unusual, and if does occur, should ponder underlying systemic disease such as sarcoidosis, or perhaps involvement of herpes zoster, not simplex. The classical facial drooping, difficulty closing eye, and perhaps hyperacusis and focal loss of taste, may be seen again.
