Allergic dermatitis: It could be from contact with chemicals used on the grass (fertilizers, pesticides, weed poisons), mites in the grass, allergy to the grass itself or any other substance on the ground that contacts the grass which, in turn, you contact on your skin. Anti-histamines can be helpful for contact allergies and itching.
