Poor heart pumping: This is when the heart is unable to pump out enough blood. This can be caused by many things, including scarring of the heart after a heart attack, valve problems, infections, and other causes.

Cardiac output: Low cardiac output has low bp, high heart rate, cold, clammy, impaired mention, may be short of breath, decreased urine output . High cardiac output usually the obverse with warm, bounding pulses, increased BP may have increased urine output.

CO=SVxHR: Cardiac output is the result of heart rate and volume pumped per heart beat (stroke volume). If volume goes down like in bleeding, heart rate goes up to maintain cardiac output.
