How to make sense of my cardiac problems?

Ask MD to explain: First ask about your diagnosis as there are many "cardiac problems" not pertaining to you. Then keep asking about diagnosis, work up, tests done and prognosis. Then, listen very carefully to your doctor's recommendations and follow them through. Asking the people who know you gives you more insight than reading out of context.
