Need advice on what is the the diffrence between menstrual cycle, and ovulation?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

There is a differenc: Ovulation is the process of producing an egg from an ovary. It should occur every month about the middle of your menstrual cycle. This cycle is the regular, predictable recurrence of changes in your body's hormones which help you get ready for becoming pregnant. If you don't conceive, you then shed the uterine lining which builds up every month as part of the menstrual cycle.
