A doctor has provided 1 answer

A general question: Blood consists of cells and fluid (plasma). Cells are of 3 general types: white blood cells (which fight infection), red blood cells (which carry oxygen), and platelets (which initiate blood clots). Plasma and lymph carry proteins, such as antibodies. Anemia is the commonest disorder with many causes. Leukemia is a cancer of the wbcs. Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymph glands (nodes).
