Usually, nothing.: Although mold is not pleasant, they rarely, if ever, cause disease in a healthy person, unless the person is allergic to that mold. For the allergic, symptoms would be respiratory - sneezing, nasal congestion, asthma (cough and wheeze). There was a scare a few years ago regarding "toxic mld", but that seemed to affect only infants with poor immune systems.
