Is there a non-invasive treatment for a spinal tumor/

Sometimes: It all depends on the type of spinal tumor. Some tumors are treated with observation- no surgery- and repeat imaging over several months to years. Surgery is essential for invasive tumors, suspected malignancies, weakness, and other situations where waiting and watching is dangerous. Your neurosurgeon should be able to help you decide on surgical necessity and timing.

Sometimes: It depends on the type of tumor. Benign, slow growing tumors may be observed if not compressing nerves or making the spine unstable. Some malignant tumors may respond well to medication (chemotherapy) or radiation treatment. Treatment depends on type of tumor, location, size, nerve/spinal cord pressure, stability.
