A member asked:

Have you heard of brazil using snake venom to cure cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: The claims on the news channel are of course exaggerated, but snake venom contains a host of interesting molecules that have (like everything else from nature) a variety of effects on cell cultures. Of course some of them kill blood vessels in tumors and elsewhere. After a decade of interest, i suspect this will not go anywhere. Nothing near a clinical cure / remission yet despite the hype.
