Likely not necessary: Key thing about a generalized convulsion is a risk of injury, as can occur by falling, hitting nearby objects, and arching of spine. But safest to not actively intervene, such as manipulating mouth or jaw. If during postictal phase, pt complains of feeling cold, could use blanket, but in most circumstances, best approach is to make certain the next episode is prevented. Med compliance critical.
