Travel/extermination: When i lived in europe bed bugs were a problem. Never thought i would see them in the us. The epidemic is attributed to ^ foreign travel & progressive v in chemicals authorized to treat them. They are very hard to eradicate once they move in.

Just look for signs of bed bugs when you check in - small black specks between the mattress and boxspring, under the bed sheet, and at the head of the bed. Also, look for unclean bed linens. Just don't use a room or hotel that's unclean.
