Because: Muscle tissue is considered part of the neurological tissues. There is a "chain" of tissues which neurologists specialize in, from muscle, up the nerves, to spinal cord, brainstem, all the way to cerebral structures. Some neurologists subspecialize in myopathies (muscle diseases).
