Biliary disease: Gallstones and biliary disease may not affect your ability to conceive, however going through a pregnancy with a bad gallbladder is not recommended. Once pregnant, surgery is avoided, as general anesthesia negatively affects your pregnancy. To decrease your overall pregnancy risk, get elective gallbladder surgery before pregnancy. Good luck.
