What can you do or not do when you have the side effects of using lorazepam, or activan?

Talk to doctor: You do not mention which side effects you are having. However neither med is the best for long term use. One of the ssri meds like zoloft or Lexapro (escitalopram) are more effective and safe for the long run. You should not stop Ativan suddenly as it may cause seizures.
