Symptoms vary : Chest pain, jaw pain, arm pain, back pain, upper abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, sweating, trouble breathing and profound fatigue could all be possible symptoms of a heart attack in a woman. Bottom line - if you are concerned that you might be having a heart attack, take an Aspirin and seek medical attention immediately.

Classically: Angina pectoris =substernal pressure, pain with radiation to the neck or left or right arm and shoulder. Some will have abdominal pain-and be confused with gallbladder or stomach symptoms. Ladies seem to have less classic// or tolerate pain better than men. Relief with Nitroglycerin is very suggestive. A feeling of impending doom, pallor, sweating suggest a bad day!

No one is the same..: Everyone is different. In general we tell people to be concerned if they are having chest pressure or feel short of breath, especially with exertion. Back pain can also be a symptom and some people just feel tired or feel nothing at all. Most important is that if you have symptoms that give you a 'sense of doom' you should call your doctor. If the feelings come and don't go away, you call 911.
