One faints /collapse: First organs that is not vital like gastrointestinal system and muscle mass your vital organs do not receive blood that carries oxygen, but when brain cells cannot function, one looses conscious ness. Other vital organs, lungs and kidneys also can loose function. An infection can affect the blood vessels, dehydration, metabolic disorder like diabetes, heart disease and brain disease.
