Neuropathy: Yes, it may affect sexual functions by two direct mechanisms. First lack of sensation in severe sensory neuropathy from skin and reproductive organs results in diminished physical pleasure, higher threshold and discomfort. Second, autonomic nervous system may be involved resulting in impotency, impaired lubrication and anorgasmia. Indirect mechanisms are pain, depression and side effect from meds.
