my voice is gone and i can barely get out a whisper. woke up with thick yellow mucus. had a active cold 2 weeks ago. had sore throat and raspy voice.

Virus: 98% of laryngitis is from a virus. Just weight it out, you should be fine in 2 week time. If you can't weight steroids can be used, but i don't recommend that option.

See PCP: It's probably viral and will probably resolve in 5-7 days, but it is always good to get checked by your pcp or walk in clinic to make sure.
