Abdo. wall hernia: Could be an "umbilical or para-umbilical" hernia if located at or next to navel. Small "ventral" hernia if above or below navel. This is a small outpouching of your peritoneum (abdominal wall lining) between your rectus muscles (abs). Slight risk of small loop of bowel getting stuck in it (incarcerating), which would be an emergency. Suggest consult your dr or a general surgeon.
