Can an early ultrasound be inaccurate? in other words say that your 9 weeks aling but yoyr actually 13 weeks along?

Yes and No: A pregnancy dating ultrasound done at 8 to 11 weeks of pregnancy is pretty accurate when done by an experienced technician. The estimate can be a few days or a week off in either direction, but won't be 4 weeks off.
