Lactose free feed: Infants with an acute diarrhea will often loose the ability to digest the lactose sugar in regular sugar for a period of time.A week or so on a lactose free product will bypass the cramping & acid stools the kids would otherwise have as they heal.Soy based formulas are lactose free and there are other lactose free products by other companies.

No need to change: Unless your infant has had a diarrhea longer than a week, you can continue same formula. Keep your baby well hydrated.
