i have pain in right side of the abdomen right beside the ribcage. what could be the reason and remedy to this?

Pain in Belly: Hard to tell what it is. Did you have any trauma? You can take over the counter pain medications, but if it continues i would get it checked out with an abdominal film. The doctor may decide to to a chest xray or rib series to check for something in the chest.
