Transit time: It sounds like the transit time between your eating the food and the remnants coming out on the other end, is very rapid. Either that or you're eating things that your intestine cannot digest. Does this happen with only some foods, or with all? Is your weight stable? Are there other symptoms (pain, bloating, diarrhea, etc)? If this is recurrent, it warrants a visit to your doctor.

Digestion: Not everything we put in our mouth is digestible. For instance, corn is commonly seen distinctly in our excrement even though its considered food. Was there a specific food you saw?
