No: First, are you taking the pills as prescribed, one every day, no days off, and at the same time of day? Are you on other medicines that might interfere with the birth control pill? How long have you been using the pill? For the first 2-3 months, your bleeding may be irregular and heavy but should lighten and become very regular over time. You may benefit from an exam/sonogram.
