Opiates side effects: Oxycodone is used for pain. Some people get nausea if taking on an empty stomach. Many people develop constipation after a few doses. It can make you feel sleepy. It should not be taken with other medications that can make you sleepy or alcohol as it can cause death. This occurs because like other opiates it suppresses the breathing mechanism. Talk to your doctor to see if this is right for you.
