I have moles in my retinas. how long before i go blind.if untreated?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Malignant vs benign: A high percentage of choroidal nevi (moles under the retina) are benign. About 1 in 8400 of them may change from a benign behavior to a malignant one. It's best to have your retinal nevi photographed and checked yearly when benign so as to detect any change. If conversion happens, they can be treated. Otherwise i wouldn't worry about going blind from these usually benign lesions.
