It's ok.: Please try not to be embarrassed. All of us need a little extra help from others at some point in our life. From your description, this is negatively impacting your quality of life. A good place to start is with a doctoral level clinical psychologist for a comprehensive assessment & therapy. The psychologist can let you know if medications are indicated or not. Take care.
