A member asked:

Would abdominal aorta problem show up on a abdominal x-ray when checking for appendictis?

Maybe: A ct scan yes; a plain x-ray probably not unless the aorta is calcified.

Usually not: The aorta and/or aneurysms usually can't be seen on a regular x-ray (neither can an appendix) but if the aneurysm is very calcified, one might get a suggestion of an aneurysm.
