Lamictal dosing: The pharmacokinetics of Lamotrigine follow first-order kinetics, with a half-life of 13.5 hours and volume of distribution of 1.36 l/kg. What this means is half of the drug is gone in 13.5 hours and another 25% is gone in another 13.5 hours. Most of the drug should be gone in 1.5 to 2 days.
