Many Options: Angiography, nuclear stress test, coronary calcium screen, or cardiac ct angiography involve some radiation. Echocardiogram- great for heart structure/function/valves. Treadmill stress test- good for functional capacity, prognosis. Holter - heart rhythm problems. Mri- great; limited availability a coronary calcium scan does have low radiation, but can be helpful in for presence of atherosclerosis.
