Not likely: Hernia surgery in children generally does not use mesh or foreign material. Even if metal clips were used, they are most often intert and non-magnetic titanium.

Not likely: Pediatric hernias are traditionally not fixed with mesh, clips etc. Even if mesh was used it is highly unlikely that it was fixed with metal clips that may hinder your MRI testing. You should not worry.
