No.: The risks from a single blood transfusion are very low. Infection risk (hiv, hepatitis) well below 1 in 1, 000, 000. There are a number of concerns re transfusion, but those are in relation to the underlying problem for which you got blood. If the prognosis overall is good, you have nothing to worry about.
