Nausea after BA: It could be related to your medications or a possible undetected pregnancy. At this point, best to try to recover from surgery and then repeat hpt and hopefully it will be negative. If not, you must talk to your surgeon about how to proceed.

Nausea after augment: Nausea is especially common after breast augmentation and may be related to medications. I would recommend repeating a pregnancy test to confirm the negative test. However surgical stress may often precipitate or delay menses. If your test is negative, i would not be overly concerned as long as you remain hydrated. Probiotics may also help.

Wait and see: Is not unusual to have changes in your menstrual cycle as a result of anesthesia. The nausea could be related to the medications you're taking or to a pregnancy. A blood test is the easiest way to diagnose an early pregnancy.

See Below: It is not unusual for patients who have undergone any type of surgical procedure to have a change (or skip) their menstrual period. Also, nausea is commonly seen after this type of surgery. For your own peace of mind, best to check another pregnancy test. Otherwise, it is very likely that your menstrual cycle will resume and nausea will dissipate as you wean off medications. Best wishes.

See PCP urgently/ ER: Post surgical nausea vs gastrointestinal upset as you document both nausea and diarrhea. Dehydration is likely a factor as well. Being on birth control and negative pregnancy test limits chances of being pregnant. Missing your period, likely has a lot to do with the stress of having a surgical procedure. My concern for you is twofold - remote chance of clots as on bc pills and dehydration. See pcp.
