Tingling and burning: Diabetes is not the only condition that causes tingling burning and swollen feet. Have your podiatrist or internal medicine doctor check you for other causes such as circulatory problems, alcohol abuse and there are several others.

Burning: Burning feet and tingling may be coming from yor lower back if you have a history of low back. It is very common in diabetes and you mentioned you had blood work last year, i would get it checked again and if negative see a neurologist.
