See your doctor: Some women have regular menstrual cycles on Mirena (levonorgestrel) while most have much less or no bleeding at all. If you are having more frequent bleeding, this should be checked. This could be from partial expulsion of the iud and could make it less effective. If the iud is in the proper position then other causes for abnormal bleeding need to be checked.
